This free class covers nutrition basics using MyPlate recommendations, physical activity guidance for older adults and how to read labels to make informed choices. Attendees will learn how fiber, saturated fat, added sugars and sodium affect chronic disease prevention, and get strategies for eating well on a budget. Participants will leave with practical tips, easy recipes for up to two people and helpful resources for healthy living at any budget.
