New Turn Lane to be Constructed on East Martin Luther King Jr. Street
Starting Monday, Dec. 9, construction will begin on a new turn lane that will allow vehicles to turn safely into the City of Bryan offices and facilities, located at 1309 E. Martin Luther King Jr. St., while maintaining the flow of traffic along the street from Highway 6.

City offices closed on Nov. 28 and 29 for Thanksgiving
City offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, for Thanksgiving. If your regularly-scheduled container, brush or bulky collection is on Thursday or Friday, it will be collected the following day so our crews can enjoy the holiday with their families.

Bryan didn’t become a success story overnight. It took years of work, innovation, leadership and patience. The foundations which began more than 150 years ago have paid off in ways that past generations couldn’t have imagined.
But time doesn’t stop. Bryan’s history continues to be written day-after-day, year-after-year. As we look at some of these historic foundations, we are reminded that what we do today in Bryan is laying a new foundation for the generations of the future.
