Public input needed on Brazos County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan

Help your local emergency management partners by completing a survey for the update to our Brazos County Hazard Mitigation Action Plan. The Plan identifies and assesses our community’s natural hazard risks and develops strategies and actions to minimize or manage those risks.

Wastewater Notice

An estimated 300,000 gallons of wastewater surcharged from the City of Bryan’s sanitary sewer system in the late evening of Saturday, Aug. 12. There is no threat to the Bryan Public Drinking Water System because of this incident. City crews are continually monitoring drinking water quality to ensure water quality standards are met.

Public meeting set for Aug. 15 to review draft Floodplain Management Plan

The City of Bryan has updated the Floodplain Management Plan, also known as the Flood Mitigation Plan, and is seeking public input on the draft plan during a public meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bryan City Hall Basement Training Room.
