Update: As of Friday, July 26, due to the weather forecast, the Dive-In Movie featuring “Finding Nemo” at Bryan Aquatic Center has been rescheduled to Friday, Aug. 2.
Summer nights in Bryan are about to get a lot more entertaining as the Parks and Recreation Department unveils an exciting lineup of family-friendly movie events to enjoy under the stars.
Here’s a look at the schedule:
Moonlight Movie at the Park featuring “Angels in the Outfield”
Experience an unforgettable movie night as “Angels in the Outfield” comes to life at Sue Haswell Memorial Park Baseball Field on Thursday, June 13. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with pre-movie activities, including yard games and inflatables. The movie begins at dusk.
Admission is $10 per vehicle, cash only, with parking available in the pavilion lot. Blankets, chairs, and leashed pets are welcome.
Food vendors will be available for purchase, or guests can bring their own refreshments. Glass containers and alcohol are not allowed. Vendors include Jimmy’s Burger Shack & More, El Palomo Kitchen, and Raging Bull Street Tacos.
Drive-In Movie featuring “Minions” & “Despicable Me”
Step into the nostalgia of a drive-in movie and enjoy a double feature showcasing “Minions” and “Despicable Me” on Friday, June 28 at Bryan Regional Athletic Complex.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with pre-movie activities, including yard games, inflatables, and face painting. The first movie starts at 7 p.m., with the second beginning 10 minutes after the first concludes.
Admission is $15 per vehicle, cash only, with parking available in the soccer lot. Blankets, chairs, and leashed pets are welcome.
Food vendors will be available for purchase, or guests can bring their own refreshments. Glass containers and alcohol are not allowed. Vendors include Carousel’s Soft-Serve Icery, El Palomo Kitchen, and Raging Bull Street Tacos.
Dive-In Movie featuring “Finding Nemo”
Grab your floaties and join us for a showing of “Finding Nemo” on our 16-foot screen at the Bryan Aquatic Center on Friday, Aug. 2. Gates open at 8:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 8:45.
While you enjoy the movie, mermaid swimmers from Aggieland Scuba will glide through the pool. Tubes, aquatic lounges, and noodles are welcome. Oversized floats may be refused entry if they pose a safety risk.
Admission is $3 for ages 4 – 11 and $5 for ages 12+. The event is capped at 400 attendees; arrive early.
Food vendors, including Something Different and JJ’s Snowcones, will be available for purchase. Water bottles are permitted, but outside food and drink are not allowed.
