It’s time to deck the halls and plan your holiday season in Bryan! We’ve gathered a list of holiday festivities to add to your calendar.
Holiday Magic Returns Dec. 5 to Sue Haswell Memorial Park
Celebrate the season at Holiday Magic, returning for its 26th year on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Sue Haswell Memorial Park. Admission, activities, parking, and shuttle are all free! Pets are not allowed.
Family-friendly fun includes photos with Santa and holiday characters, snow hills, train rides, inflatables, face painting, arts and crafts, a holiday scavenger hunt, letters to Santa, hot chocolate and cookies, Bryan ISD choir performances, a showing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and more!

Snow Hill Waiver
To slide down the snow hills, you must complete a waiver. There are two hills based on participant height: one for riders 42 inches and under, and another for those over 42 inches. You can complete the waiver in advance online and bring a digital or printed copy to the snow hill registration booth, or you can fill out the waiver onsite during the event. Once you show proof of the completed form, you will receive a wristband, which is required to slide.
Photos with Santa & Holiday Characters
A photo booth will be available for a keepsake photo with Santa. Bring your own camera to capture the moment with holiday characters.
Food Trucks
Vendors include Raging Bull Street Tacos, JLM’s Chicken and Waffle, M&M Food Truck and Catering, Cousins Maine Lobster, and A&Y Texas Kitchen. You can bring your own refreshments; glass containers and alcohol are not allowed.
Free Parking & Shuttle
Parking is very limited at the park. Attendees are encouraged to park at Blinn College off East 29th Street (lots E, I, and K) and take the free shuttle service available from 5 to 9:30 p.m. All shuttles are equipped with wheelchair lifts and restraints. Strollers are welcome.
