City Offices Closed on April 18 for Good Friday
City offices will be closed Friday, April 18, in observance of Good Friday. Residential solid waste and brush/bulky collections will run as normal.
Get ready to step into better health with Walk with a Doc! The City of Bryan Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with Baylor Scott & White, invites you to join a walk led by a doctor or health professional on select Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends while exercising and learning ways to improve your health.
It’s free to participate, but registration is required and a waiver must be completed on-site before the walk begins.
Here’s the schedule:
Participants will meet at the Tiffany Park Pavilion, behind the basketball court at 3890 Copperfield Drive. In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be held inside the Neal Recreation Center, 600 N. Randolph Ave.
About Walk with a Doc
Since its inception in 2005 by cardiologist Dr. David Sabgir, Walk with a Doc has grown into a nationwide movement that creates healthier communities by combining the power of physical activity, health education, social connection, and time in nature.
