Wastewater Notice

An estimated 300,000 gallons of wastewater surcharged from the City of Bryan’s sanitary sewer system in the late evening of Saturday, Aug. 12. There is no threat to the Bryan Public Drinking Water System because of this incident. City crews are continually monitoring drinking water quality to ensure water quality standards are met.

The City of Bryan has updated the Floodplain Management Plan, also known as the Flood Mitigation Plan, and is seeking public input on the draft plan during a public meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bryan City Hall Basement Training Room.

Bryan Texas Utilities has launched a text messaging notification system. The service will notify customers regarding any planned or unplanned outages and important service or energy emergency alerts. The service also allows customers to utilize key words to report outages or request status updates.

Six new playgrounds installed in Bryan parks

As part of the City of Bryan Parks Improvement Plan, six parks throughout the community received new playground equipment. In addition to this project, city crews have distributed new benches, BBQ grills, tables, and trash cans to approximately 25 parks.
