On Aug. 22, during her retirement reception, the Bryan City Council bestowed Mary Lynne Stratta with the honorary title of City Secretary Emeritus for her countless contributions across the municipal clerk profession and the City of Bryan.

A briefing for individuals interested in running for office in the November 2024 city general election will be held Tuesday, June 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber of Bryan City Hall.
