City offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. First responders, frontline workers, and military personnel are invited to enjoy free admission to city-owned pools; a valid badge or ID is required.
Solid waste and brush/bulky collections will run as normal.
Animal Control is available 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Call 979-361-3888 for assistance during or after hours.
To make a BTU bill payment, call 979-821-5700 to use the automated voice service, visit btutilities.com, or stop by a kiosk. Note: H-E-B may have separate holiday hours.
For emergencies related to electric, water, wastewater, signals, signs, streets, drainage, and solid waste, call BTU dispatch at 979-822-3777.

The possession, storage, sale, use, and discharge of fireworks of all types are prohibited. This includes all types of consumer fireworks, such as firecrackers, smoke bombs, fountains, sparklers, poppers, and Roman candles. Fireworks are also illegal in College Station. The safest way to enjoy fireworks safely is by attending a professional display, such as the free 4th of July Fireworks and Drones Show at Texas A&M-RELLIS Campus.
