Work to install a new storm sewer pipe along Copperfield Drive is still in progress, due to unforeseen conflicts with existing utilities.
There is approximately 200 more feet of roadway still under construction that will remain partially open; however, motorists should use caution when traveling through the work zone.
City of Bryan’s Engineering Services apologizes for the inconvenience the delay has caused residents and are working with the contractor to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner. Provided there are no additional weather delays or further conflicts with existing utilities, the project should be complete by the end of March.
The project is part of a partnership between the city and the private developer of the Park Hudson Senior Living Center to improve the storm sewer system in the area.
