The City of Bryan and The Texas A&M University System have mutually decided not to proceed with the construction of a shared-use, indoor tennis and multipurpose facility at Travis Bryan Midtown Park.
City Offices Closed for Christmas, New Year’s Holidays
City offices will be closed Dec. 23 – 25 and Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Residential solid waste and brush/bulky routes will be collected as usual Dec. 23 – 24 but will not be picked up on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. Routes will be shifted one day.

This marks the ninth consecutive year Bryan has achieved this honor, joining 53 other Texas municipalities recognized.
The award highlights municipalities that excel in raising community awareness about the value of planning, exceeding professional standards, garnering community support for planning initiatives, offering professional development opportunities for staff and commissioners, contributing to economic development, and enhancing the overall community image.
