Embrace Learning to Swim as an Essential Life Skill
Enjoying the outdoors in warmer weather is a favorite pastime. Whether it’s a beach, pool, lake, or river, water activities bring joy and health benefits. However, they can pose risks, especially for non-swimmers, with young children at higher drowning risk.
Prioritize your family’s safety by making swimming an essential life skill. The Parks and Recreation Department is devoted to teaching people to swim correctly, safely, and confidently. We have swim lessons available for ages six months to adults.
