Sue Haswell Memorial Park is one of the largest and most popular parks in Bryan, nestled between the split sides of E. William J. Bryan Parkway. Donated to the city in 1925 by Tyler Haswell to honor his mother, the park features several pavilions, a gazebo, 24 horseshoe pits, numerous picnic tables, a large playground, tennis courts, a basketball court, a trail, two baseball/softball fields, and several parking options. The park is also home to the "Path of Presidents" and the "Aquatic Liberty Garden."
