Gazebo and statue at Heritage Park on a sunny day.

Heritage Park is a neighborhood park with historical flair, donated to the city by the Brazos Heritage Society in 1993. The gazebo in the center of the park is named for Matthew Winsper Knobel and is a popular outdoor wedding location. The park features a Memoire sculpture, donated by Margueritte Gardner in 2001 in remembrance of her mother. Plus, the park features exact replicas of the picnic tables and benches from the old Stephen F. Austin High School.
