The tournament will feature pool play with either a single or double-elimination format, depending on the number of registered teams. Rosters, limited to six players of any gender, are due before the team’s first game. Games will be self-officiated. In case of inclement weather, play will move inside the Neal Recreation Center, 600 N. Randolph Ave.

Covered courts are located within Austin’s Colony Park, adjacent to Harvey Mitchell Elementary School. The facility features three lighted tennis courts and 12 lined pickleball courts. Pickleball nets are available for setup. Restrooms are located at the pavilion within walking distance.

A membership is required to access and reserve the facility. Courts are first-come, first-served unless reserved. Membership also provides access to the pickleball courts at Neal Recreation Center during open gym.

Purchase your membership by visiting the Parks and Recreation Office at 1309 E. Martin Luther King Street. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Renewals and reservations can be completed online.

Renew Membership


Pickleball is a fun and accessible sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. In this class, you’ll learn the basic rules, techniques, and strategies while enjoying friendly gameplay. Attend one class or all six sessions. You can preregister or pay at the door. Please bring your own paddle and pickleballs.

  • Fees: $5 per session or $30 for all six sessions

Cardio Dance

Rev up your fitness routine and burn calories with cardio dance classes. Enjoy energetic R&B and old school hits while performing line dances and choreographed routines. Our instructor’s high-energy workouts feature diverse step combinations to keep you engaged and motivated.

Open Gym

Open gym hours are designated by sport, and courts are available first-come, first-served – reservations aren’t accepted.

Pickleball

  • Daily Fee: $5 or Bryan Tennis Center Membership

Volleyball

  • Ages: 18+
  • Days: Thursdays
  • Time: 6 – 9 p.m.
  • Daily Fee: $2 per person

Senior adults 55 and older are invited to monthly socials that offer a great opportunity to connect with others while enjoying engaging discussions and activities.

Registration begins Jan. 6 and is required for socials with fees. You can preregister or pay at the door.

    Singo is a fun musical twist on the traditional game of Bingo. Instead of calling out numbers, players listen for their favorite ’80s music hits.

    What’s the Buzz Specialty Coffee will share the rich history of their coffee beans and the roasting process that brings out the delicious flavors in their coffee.

    Learn how to avoid vacation scams by understanding the common frauds surrounding vacation deals. Get tips on how to protect yourself and find out where to report fraud.

    The Bryan + College Station Public Library System will provide information about their services, programs, how to get a library card, and free one-on-one computer help classes.

Register for Senior Socials


The regular season will consist of six to eight games, depending on the number of teams registered. At the end of the regular season, the top six teams in each division will participate in a double-elimination tournament. Rosters are limited to 20 players, and there is no free-agent list.

Once the schedule is final, no refunds will be issued for teams that choose not to participate. USA Softball/TAAF rules apply unless otherwise noted in the league rules, which managers will receive before the season starts. The winning team will receive a trophy and championship t-shirts.

Get ready to step into better health with Walk with a Doc! In collaboration with Baylor Scott & White, we invite you to join a doctor-led walk on select Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends while exercising and learning ways to better improve your health.

It’s free to participate, but registration is required, and a waiver must be completed on-site before the walk begins. In the event of inclement weather, the outdoor walk will move indoors to the Neal Recreation Center.
