UPDATE: Due to weather conditions, maintenance began on Tuesday, July 9.
Starting Monday, July 8, pavement maintenance will begin on East 29th Street from Briarcrest Drive to the southern city limits near Circle K. Repairs are expected to take one to two weeks, weather permitting. The road will remain open, but drivers should anticipate slight delays.
The maintenance work involves milling off the existing pavement and resurfacing without adding any new elements. Pavement markings will be added later.
Upon completion, the roadway will have new asphalt and pavement markings, with all turn lanes intact.
Drivers are urged to pay attention to and follow all road signs.
