Drive-In Double Feature Set for May 16
Make plans to load up the whole family and enjoy a drive-in double feature of “Lilo & Stitch” and “Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch” on Friday, May 16, at Bryan Regional Athletic Complex.
Often, a child’s first sports experience is in a competitive league rather than one that teaches basic skills. Before joining competitive programs, kids need to master fundamental athletic skills.
That’s why the Parks and Recreation Department offers Start Smart Sports, featuring baseball/softball, soccer, and basketball.
Designed for ages 3 – 5, this program uses age-appropriate equipment to teach progressive motor skills through fun drills. Kids build confidence and essential motor skills for future sports success, all without the pressure of competition or risk of injury.
The cost is $50 per resident or $60 per non-resident. A parent or guardian is encouraged to participate with their child.
