Traffic signal issues
During normal business hours
Report a traffic signal outage during normal business hours (7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.), or report a concern regarding signal timing.
After hours
Call the 24-hour Outage/Emergency Hotline to report a signal outage outside of normal business hours.
Public and Accessible Transportation
Public and accessible transit in Bryan is provided by the Brazos Transit District (BTD).
Accessible transportation options are also provided by the Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living (BVCIL).
Mission Statement
The City of Bryan’s Traffic Operations Department is dedicated to maintaining and improving the city’s roadway network for all users through the use of advanced traffic signal technology, clear and concise signage and pavement markings, and advance warning beacons for schools and flooding. It is our goal to provide a safe and efficient network that can be used by any mode of transportation whether that be walking, biking, driving, or anything in between.
Traffic Counts
Traffic Operations periodically records traffic volumes on various roads in Bryan. We are developing a Traffic Count Map that will enable residents to see this data in online map form. Additionally TxDOT performs traffic counts on many roadways in Bryan.
