Walk Your Way to Better Health with Walk with a Doc

Walk with a Doc: Educate, Exercise, Empower.

Get ready to step into better health with Walk with a Doc! The City of Bryan’s Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with Baylor Scott & White, invites you to join a doctor-led walk on select Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. It’s a great opportunity to meet new friends while exercising and learning ways to better improve your health.

It’s free to participate, but registration is required and a waiver must be completed on-site before the walk begins.

Register for Walk With a Doc

Walks at the Neal Recreation Center will be inside the gym, located at 600 N. Randolph Ave. Walks at Tiffany Park will start at the pavilion behind the basketball court, located at 3890 Copperfield Drive. In the event of inclement weather, the outdoor walk will move indoors to the Neal Recreation Center.

Since its inception in 2005 by cardiologist Dr. David Sabgir, Walk with a Doc has grown into a nationwide movement that creates healthier communities by combining the power of physical activity, health education, social connection, and time in nature.
