City offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Residential solid waste and brush/bulky collections will run as normal.

Get ready to step into better health with Walk with a Doc! The City of Bryan’s Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with Baylor Scott & White, invites you to join a doctor-led walk on select Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m.
The City of Bryan and The Texas A&M University System have mutually decided not to proceed with the construction of a shared-use, indoor tennis and multipurpose facility at Travis Bryan Midtown Park.
City Offices Closed for Christmas, New Year’s Holidays
City offices will be closed Dec. 23 – 25 and Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Residential solid waste and brush/bulky routes will be collected as usual Dec. 23 – 24 but will not be picked up on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. Routes will be shifted one day.
Inventory Process Underway for Bryan’s Water Service Lines
The City of Bryan is conducting an inventory of water service lines to comply with EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions. Learn how the process works, what it means for you, and how you can help.
Part of Elmo Weedon Road to Close Nov. 25 – 27 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Elmo Weedon Road, from the intersection of FM 158/Highway 30 to the Bryan city limits (near the county maintenance sign), will be closed from Nov. 25 – 27, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for road repairs.
City of Bryan water customers with a cell phone number listed on their account will be auto-enrolled into a new text-messaging notification system, TextPower, on June 3.
Enrolled customers will receive water outage, restoration, and continuous usage alert texts from 979-209-5900.
BTU electric customers were auto-enrolled in the TextPower notification system last fall and those notifications are from 979-821-5700.
